From October 10 to October 17, a traditional volunteer action "Green City" took place, in which about 15,000 SCM Group employees, along with their families and friends, took part. In total, the "Green City" campaign captured about 100 cities and towns where SCM Group companies operate. In a week, SCM volunteers landed trees, removed organic litter, liquidated spontaneous dumps, renovated fences, benches, playgrounds. This is primarily the merit of the employees of Metinvest, DTEK, Ukrtelecom, Lemtrans, the telecommunication group Vega, Parallel and UMG.  

In Kiev volunteers cleaned the territory of the Babiyar Yar memorial, where they planted tree saplings, and also helped to arrange a camp for children of settlers "Forest Park" in the village of Dymer. In Krivoy Rog, the local Botanical Garden was replenished with 200 shrubs of lilacs, works on landscaping were held at the local home of veterans and on the residential massif Ingulets. SCM volunteers in Dnipropetrovsk landed shrubbery shrubs in the Little Girl's House and removed trash immediately in several parks. In Mariupol, the Youth Square and the Titan Stadium were enriched, and in addition, trees were planted in the Park of Generations.

It is especially important that the volunteer action was held in settlements located in the ATO area - where the assistance is now very difficult and necessary. In Krasnodon, Yenakievo, Avdeyevka, Khartsyzsk, Rovenky, volunteers worked on eliminating spontaneous landfills, cutting trees, arranging recreational areas and planting seedlings.
