Lemtrans continues to work to ensure Ukraine’s logistical and economic stability by supplying critical raw materials and investing in new infrastructure projects.
Transportation
According to the results of 2024, the company’s total transportation volume reached 15.9 million tons. The majority of this volume was coal transportation — 10.9 million tons. The second-largest segment was iron ore raw materials (2.3 million tons), followed by construction materials (2.01 million tons) and other types of cargo (0.6 million tons).
Starting in the third quarter, coal shipments declined due to massive Russian attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Damage to production assets led to a reduction in transportation volumes on the part of shippers.

Investments
In 2024, the Group allocated over UAH 478 million to infrastructure and logistics projects — three times more than in 2023, when investments amounted to over UAH 160 million.
The main focus was on investments of UAH 441 million in the terminal and container business. In the second half of 2024, the new Vinnytsia Container Terminal was opened. Lemtrans also implemented an investment program aimed at maintaining the car fleet and further increasing the efficiency of car repair facilities.

“Despite the challenges of wartime, we continue to invest in new infrastructure projects,” said Volodymyr Mezentsev, CEO of Lemtrans. “The opening of such a terminal will contribute to business development across various industries — both for large exporters and small shippers. The terminal in Vinnytsia expands access for Ukrainian enterprises to global markets, supporting the growth of export-import operations. This is especially important in the current environment, when economic stability is one of Ukraine’s key priorities.”

Taxes
According to the results of their activities in 2024, the companies within the Lemtrans Group transferred more than UAH 712 million in taxes and fees to budgets at all levels.
In particular, approximately UAH 647 million was transferred to the state budget, including over UAH 283 million in income tax. Local budgets received UAH 66 million. Additionally, Lemtrans Group paid over UAH 59 million in single social contributions.

Infrastructure Assets
The volume of scheduled and current repairs of freight cars over 12 months reached 5,635 units.
Lemtrans Group remains a reliable partner for Ukrainian businesses, ensuring uninterrupted logistics and investing in the development of transport infrastructure even in the most challenging times.
