Last week, Fastiv hosted the Economic Forum 2025: “Platform for Development”, which became an important event for the business community and local authorities. At the event, Oleksandr Tkachuk, Director of Terminal Network Development at Levada Cargo (Lemtrans Group), presented the prospects for a new infrastructure project — a container terminal in Fastiv.
The terminal in Fastiv will become a strategic link in the development of transport logistics in the region. The project will allow to improve logistics chains, expand export opportunities for Ukrainian producers, and create conditions for the integration of local businesses into global trade.
The Fastiv Economic Forum has become not only a platform for presenting new initiatives, but also a platform for discussing economic challenges and opportunities for cooperation. Businesses and local authorities discussed the development of regional infrastructure, prospects for public-private partnerships, new positions creation, and investment attraction.
Lemtrans Group remains a key partner of the state in the development of transport infrastructure. In 2024 alone, Lemtrans invested UAH 478 million in logistics and infrastructure projects, which is three times more than in 2023. The main focus was on the development of the terminal and container business, where investments totalled UAH 441 million.
Despite the war and economic difficulties, Lemtrans continues to invest in the development of new production facilities, ensuring stable economic growth and strengthening the country’s logistics capabilities.
