Lemtrans organizes shipping with its own rolling stock, delivers freight forwarding services, provides informational support on the movement of goods, as well as conducts repair works of rolling stock. One of the main activities of Lemtrans is railway forwarding. The company operates on the basis of the License issued by the Ministry of Transport of Ukraine and has agreements with Ukrzaliznytsia and all Ukrainian railways.
The range of freight forwarding services includes:
• provision of the company’s own (rented) rolling stock for loading;
• organization and ensurance of railway shipments;
• coverage of tariff payments, additional fees, protection, transit declaration, cargo insurance on the territory of Ukraine in the wagons of the general railroad fleet, as well as in the company’s own (rented) rolling stock;
• information services related to the shipment of goods.
Currently, Lemtrans manages over 20,000 gondola cars.
The company carries out high-quality and timely repair of rolling stock at rented Volnovakha and Kamianske train depots.
Kamianske train depot
It provides services for the depot repair of freight wagons (gondola cars, hoppers), examination of wheel sets, repair of wheel sets and spare parts.
Volnovakha train depot
The wagon-repair company primarily performs the depot and capital repairs of freight wagons, carriages, wheel sets, automatic coupler heads, brake gears and spare parts of freight wagons. Its specialization is repair of gondola cars, platforms and tanks.
We provide services for the following types of rolling stock repairs:
1. Capital repairs with the increased volume of works and extension of service life
(CRGC) of universal gondola cars and 4-axle tanks.
2. Capital repairs of grain hopper cars, coke hopper cars, cement hopper cars, scale test cars, platforms, covered wagons, mineral wagons, hoppers.
3. Capital and depot repair of 8-axle tanks.
4. Depot repair of 4-axle gondola cars, platforms, hoppers, grain hopper cars, coke hopper cars, cement hopper cars, scale test cars, platforms, covered wagons, mineral wagons.
5. Capital repairs of 4-axle gondola cars with an increased volume of works and a 12-year service life extension (with a full car body replacement).
6. Capital repairs of 4-axle gondola cars with an increased volume of works and a 6-year extension of service life (without a car body replacement).
7. Capital repairs of undercarriage, automatic coupler and auto-brake equipment of
rolling stock (without installing new items and repairing the unloading mechanism).
8. Maintenance repair of the wheel set (full examination without turning).
9. Average repair of the wheel set (full examination of the wheel set with turning).
10. Capital repairs of the wheel set (full examination with turning and overlaying).
11. Overlaying of wheel set flange.
12. Modernization of the C14.01 trolley.
13. Painting of a 4-axle gondola car.
