According to the results of the first half of 2018, Lemtrans transported 25.87 million tons of various goods. Compared to the same period of last year, the decrease was 3.03% (26.68 million tons in the first half of 2017).

The structure of loading of Lemtrans in the reporting period as a whole has not changed. In the six months of 2018, the main volume of loading accounted for 9.93 million tons of coal and iron ore raw materials - 8.68 million tons. According to the results of the first half of 2017, the carriage of these types of cargo was 10.08 million tons and 10.26 million tons, respectively. The volumes of ferrous metal transportation in January-June totaled 3.62 million tons (2.88 million tons in the first half of 2017), fluxes - 1.60 million tons (1.72 million tons in the first half of 2017), coke - 1,54 million tons (1.39 million tons in the first half of 2017).

"The first half of 2018 proved to be uneasy. We felt a drop in the volumes of transportation at once in several nomenclatures of goods. The tendency to deterioration of qualitative indicators has remained, - says the general director of Lemtrans Vladimir Mezentsev. - First of all, the lack of locomotive thrust on the individual sections of the road results in a negative effect, which leads to an increase in the time of the carriage's turn. Also, the fact that many shippers do not comply with the standard terms of loading and unloading, turning cars into warehouses on wheels is also negatively affected.
