Until the end of 2015, the Humanitarian Headquarters plans to deliver at least 600,000 grocery kits to Donbass. This was announced today at a briefing at IA "Ukrainian News"   Coordinator of the Staff of Rimma Fil .  

"For all the rumors about the imminent completion of the mission, the Humanitarian Headquarters declares - Rinat Akhmetov does not intend to stop helping as long as people in need of it. Our sociological research and the flood of calls to the hotline say that the need for help has not diminished. Therefore, all our food, address and psychological assistance projects continue to work taking into account the basic needs of the most vulnerable categories of civilians in the Donbas ", - assured Rimma Fil.

In order to secure a supply of food kits at all points of issue in January 2016, in December, the Headquarters will increase the intensity of the delivery of humanitarian assistance to uncontrolled Ukrainian authorities in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. This is due to the probable overload of check points on the eve of the New Year holidays.

In order to fulfill the tasks set by the Rinat Akhmetov's staff, it is planned to redeem 11 thousand tons of domestic production in the near future in order to form and issue more than 600 thousand sets of survival to people. 

"Some vendors pose these plans at risk of disruption, delaying delivery times . In particular, now it is especially relevant for the purchase of large batches of pasta, - said Rimma Fil. - But the Headquarters is ready for such a challenge - we conduct electronic trading, we are looking for new suppliers. We also consider possible options for replacing macaroni and groats in grocery kits. " 

In addition to food humanitarian assistance, in 2016 mobile brigades of the Volunteer Staff will deliver household chemicals to the most remote locations. Over the course of 5 months of work, "mobile" volunteers have already visited more than 180 villages, townships and small towns on both sides of the contact line, revealing the acute need of locals in powder, shampoo, soap and other personal care products. According to the head of the coordinator, it is very important that the assistance provided is up-to-date and in demand, therefore delivery and delivery of hygiene products in the outskirts of Donbass is considered by the headquarters as one of the most promising directions for 2016.  

"The headquarters continues to work. Of course, we are looking into the future, and we hope that peacetime projects will come to replace wartime programs. But today we once again want to emphasize that Rinat Akhmetov will help his compatriots as long as it is necessary ", - summed up Rimma Fil.

For the entire time of work, since August 2014, the headquarters of Rinat Akhmetov issued 5 million 257 thousand. adults and 381 thousand baby food sets on both sides of the contact line.
