The Donbass will receive increased humanitarian aid from Rinat Akhmetov

From today, Rinat Akhmetov's humanitarian headquarters begins delivering reinforced grocery sets to Donbass. Now in the package, in addition to flour, sugar, cereals, canned goods, sunflower oil, cookies and other products, additionally includes two cans of stew, two packs of macaroni, cans of canned corn. During the week in Donetsk will deliver 3650 tons of products.

"Rinat Akhmetov set the task of providing maximum assistance to those residents of Donetsk and Lugansk regions who were in trouble," commented Maxim Rovinsky , volunteer of the Humanitarian Staff of Rinat Akhmetov. - Since August, the Humanitarian Headquarters delivers food packages to the civilian population in the framework of humanitarian flights - over 3 months more than 1 million "sets for survival". Since December, the headquarters has expanded the assortment and quantity of products: now the set weighs not 10, but 13 kg and contains high-calorie products. Today, the first cars with a new structure set off from Dnipropetrovsk to Donetsk. By December 3, 194 vehicles will deliver a humanitarian cargo to the Donbass Arena, where volunteers from the stadium and FC Shakhtar will pack it in 243 thousand packages. " 

The reinforced set will issue monthly to socially unprotected categories of people who are assisted by the Headquarters. The first updated product kits will be given by residents of Donetsk, Khartsyzsk, Yasinovata, Yenakievo. Also, from the first decade of December, people will be able to receive help from the "Makeevka" at the Palace of Sports "Friendship" (Donetsk). Information about the categories to which the assistance will be provided, as well as the procedure for extradition to residents of Makeyevka, will be published on Friday, November 28, at the Foundation's website.  

Recall Rinat Akhmetov instructed his staff to deliver the second million food packages to the civilian population of Donetsk and Luhansk regions by the end of the year. According to the Donbas Humanitarian Card, 35% of the region's population needs food.
