Lemtrans, the largest transport and forwarding company in Ukraine, has created a company LLC "Lemtrans Transit", which will be entrusted with the functions of expedition of transit cargo.

LLC "Lemtrans Transit" was registered on August 22, 2013. The company will provide transportation, forwarding, customs, information, consulting and other services.

The General Manager of the company Lemtrans  Vladimir Mezentsev noted that this direction is not new for the company. Previously, Lemtrans carried out, including, the forwarding of transit cargoes across the territory of Ukraine. However, the creation of a separate company will improve the quality of the organization of transit traffic and efficiently capitalize on this direction.

"We believe that transit is a promising business area, we plan to actively develop and strengthen the company's position in this market," commented Vladimir Mezentsev.

LLC Lemtrans  is the largest private freight forwarding company in Ukraine, providing a full range of rail freight transportation services. The main areas of activity are: transport and forwarding services for domestic and export-import cargo transportation, as well as repair of rolling stock. 

To date, LLC Lemtrans  operates more than 13,500 units of rolling stock. The volume of cargo carried by the results of 2012 amounted to more than 51 million tons.
