Lemtrans continued financing the Shakhtar Social project, which aims to develop amateur children’s football in Ukraine by 2024. Recently, the Davai, hrai! tournament was held in Brody, and over 140 children who regularly play football participated in it. Before the outbreak of the full-scale invasion, the sports fields in partnership with Lemtrans had been operating in Volnovakha (Donetsk Oblast) and Popasna (Luhansk Oblast). After the occupation of two settlements by Russian troops, Shakhtar Social and Lemtrans decided to continue financing the project in another place, as it was important for children and resumed operation in Brody (Lviv Oblast).

Inna Khmyzova, Shakhtar Social Director: “Starting and continuing football projects in wartime is a special joy! I am very grateful to the partners who support regular football training in Brody for the second year in a row. One of the main reasons for maintaining the activity of the project is the desire to support displaced children who were evacuated to the west of Ukraine.”

Volodymyr Mezentsev, Lemtrans General Director: “Taking on social responsibility, we spread important values and involve as many children as possible in sports, providing equal opportunities for everyone. We believe that despite all the challenges, our cooperation will help children to socialise, spend time actively and be mentally healthy. It is our contribution to the well-being of children! Davai, hrai! is a project implemented by Shakhtar Social non-profit foundation, where children aged 6 to 12 can train for free — costs for equipment, uniforms, maintenance of the field and salary of the coach are covered by the partner company. In addition to boys, girls and children with disabilities also take part".
