Today, November 6, a press briefing by Rimma Fil, coordinator of the humanitarian staff of Rinat Akhmetov took place, during which the results of the work were summed up in three months. The headquarters was established on August 6 to provide maximum assistance to residents of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, who suffered as a result of hostilities.

"Our goal is to work where the hardest is where people most need help. The founder of the Staff, Rinat Akhmetov, set the task, "said Rimma Fil  , Humanitarian Coordinator. "For three months we have been working systematically to help civilians. Under the tutelage of the headquarters were hundreds of thousands of people who suffered because of the conflict on the Donbass: who had to flee, who had nowhere to live outside the ATO zone, and those who remained there and in dire need of products, in medical care. Thus, the headquarters evacuated nearly 35,000 people and provided housing for almost 7,000 people. The headquarters has delivered to Donbass more than 800 thousand sets of products for 500 thousand families, that is, for more than a million people. About 20 thousand people received medical assistance. This is the help of medicines and equipment to hospitals, targeted help, first aid kits for the mother and the child, for the elderly, complicated treatment. And Rinat Akhmetov is ready to help his compatriots as much as it will be necessary. Therefore, the Headquarters in November is expanding its activities - we launch a separate medical program, according to   The humanitarian map of the needs and situation of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the need for medicines is the most urgent. The headquarters will also deliver another 500,000 product kits to the Donbass, expanding geography and capturing cities with a difficult humanitarian situation. "

In October, in a separate project, on the personal initiative of Rinat Akhmetov, assistance was provided to children under the age of two who are in the ATO zone. According to preliminary estimates of the Headquarters, there are about 40,000 such children, and all of them have specific needs - in children's nutrition, in hygiene, in specialist medicines that their parents can not provide. To date, 28 thousand children's sets have been delivered to the region. Headquarters are reportedly ready to open new aid outlets in November, which will allow more children to help. In October-November, the region will deliver an additional 60 thousand children's sets.
