As of March 2, 2016    Humanitarian headquarters of Rinat Akhmetov   has given out 500 204 children's grocery sets. Assistance is provided for families with children from birth to 35 months in uncontrolled territories, contact lines and settlers in peaceful settlements of the Donbas. This was announced during a press briefing at IA "Ukrainian News" by the head co-ordinator of the Rimma Fil.

"To help the most needy and vulnerable, first and foremost to children, is such   the philosophy of Rinat Akhmetov and the Humanitarian Staff.   Children are the most affected by the war, whether they are migrant children or small inhabitants of uncontrolled territories. For this figure, 500,000 sets of children's sets are a huge number of children who are in great need of help and the efforts that the Humanitarian Staff is putting in to help families with children survive in conditions of hostilities, economic blockade and social insecurity, "said   Rimma Fil .

Humanitarian aid products are the largest program of the Headquarters. Every 35 days children's grocery sets from the Headquarters receive about 30 thousand families with kids. 85% of them are residents of uncontrolled territories who are in dire need of food humanitarian assistance. The most demanded children's sets in cities such as Donetsk, Makeevka, Gorlovka, Enakievo, Shakhtersk, Khartsyzsk, Komsomolskoe, Mariupol, Torez, Yasinovataya, as well as settlements of the "gray zone".  

Since the beginning of 2016, "mobile" brigades of volunteers issue children's grocery kits not only in uncontrolled territories of the Donbas, but also in the peaceful territory and in the "gray" zone.

"Last year, mobile relief teams became one of the priorities of the Humanitarian Headquarters. We saw how much assistance was needed   in remote villages and villages. The smaller the village and the stronger it suffered from the war, the more the need for families. It's scary to see how much people need ordinary products ", - stressed   Rimma Fil.

According to the coordinator, food assistance from the Humanitarian Staff of Rinat Akhmetov is received not only by children under the age of 35 months but also by children under the age of 18 with preferential categories:   disabled people, orphans, children from large families and low-income families.   For all the time of Rinat Akhmetov's staffing   140,715 families with children received survival kits.
