In times of war, security remains one of Lemtrans Group’s key priorities. In order to train employees to act quickly and correctly in critical situations, the company organised first aid training sessions with professional instructors.
Training sessions were conducted by certified specialists from UniSafe (in Kamyanske) and FAST (in Dnipro and Kyiv). Approximately 100 employees participated in the training events, and anyone could join the programme.
Lemtrans employees have acquired both theoretical knowledge and practical first aid skills. The instructors explained the algorithm for providing assistance in case of loss of consciousness, lack of breathing and various types of injuries. Particular attention was paid to the practical part of stopping critical bleeding with the help of tourniquets performing indirect heart massage, applying bandages correctly and checking breath.
“Health and security of our employees is a priority for the entire Lemtrans Group,” said Volodymyr Mezentsev, CEO of the company. “In times of war, first aid skills are vital. We strive to ensure that every employee of ours, regardless of profession or age, is prepared to act in emergency situations. In addition to saving lives, this knowledge gives you confidence in your actions at a critical moment.”
Lemtrans continues to invest in the training of its employees.
