Lemtrans, Ukraine’s largest private railway rolling stock operator, has donated UAH 1 million to rebuild Ukraine’s largest children’s specialised hospital, Okhmatdyt, which suffered serious damage on 8 July 2024 during Russia’s massive attack on civilian cities in Ukraine.
Okhmatdyt needs to be rebuilt as quickly as possible so that Ukrainian children can receive the necessary medical care as soon as possible. Lemtrans could not stand aside and joined the large donation. From the first day of the full-scale invasion, Lemtrans has been supporting the Ukrainian Armed Forces. However, it always directs its assistance to the places where it is needed most.
