Lemtrans has completed the deal for the acquisition of Levada Cargo, a multimodal container operator.
This acquisition was one of the next stages in the implementation of the Lemtrans development strategy to expand the list of services being provided and enter new markets, both internal and external. As a result of this step, Lemtrans will be able to provide services for the transportation and storage of goods using both commonly used and specialised containers.
“We believe that this acquisition will allow us to offer new integrated solutions for Ukrainian shippers and gain additional competitive advantages for further development. We expect sustained growth, since now we will be able to expand the list of cargo types we are ready to work with,” says Vladimir Mezentsev, Lemtrans CEO. “This investment creates new opportunities for both Lemtrans and Ukrainian shippers.”
Levada Cargo retains a legal entity, and it is currently a 100% subsidiary of Lemtrans. No other deal details were disclosed.
