More than 75 thousand tons of humanitarian aid was provided to the inhabitants of Donbass   Rinat Akhmetov's headquarters   for 500 days of work.   The headquarters has become the largest humanitarian organization, both in terms of assistance delivered to the east of Ukraine, and by the number of people who receive it regularly. Every month it is up to 500 thousand people. Coordinator Rimma Fil and director Alexander Vishnyakov told about the results of the work of the Headquarters's largest direction - "Humanitarian Aid" - during a press briefing.

"500 days, according to Rinat Akhmetov's decision, we systematically help survive the peaceful residents of the Donbas, who fell into the throes of war. When the Headquarters was created in August 2014, nobody could assume that we will work 500 days, and as the current situation shows, we will continue to work. According to the latest UN data, 2.7 million people live in uncontrolled territories of the Donbas, which are facing a restriction on movement. About 800 thousand people live in extremely difficult and dangerous conditions. The help from the Staff of Akhmetov is received by the elderly, children, invalids, the poor. We issued 5 million 850 thousand adults and 430 thousand children's grocery sets, "- says   Rimma Fil .

In order to provide people with such volumes of food assistance, the Headquarters sent 142 convoy boxes to the Donbass. This is a total of 3764 twenty-tin trolleys. 1 convoy overcomes a 12-hour journey."But in June of this year we had a peculiar anti-record - 50 hours on the way. Then, due to the strong firing and closing of the KPVB for 15 days, we made 9 attempts to cross the contact line. Traffic routes changed, hours of cars were idle at checkpoints. As a result, we managed to deliver products on the most complicated and inappropriate route through Artemovsk, to which no other humanitarian mission has gone yet, "says Alexander Vishnyakov .

In 500 days, residents and settlers received assistance in 310 cities and villages of Donbass, in which stationary points of extradition were opened, and where at least 1 time a mobile brigade of volunteers arrived.   In the settlements of the "gray zone", where volunteers traveled for half a year, assistance was provided to 75 thousand people.

"Our volunteers go every 2-3 days, and they have only 2 work formats - trips are difficult and dangerous runs. They can be at checkpoints for hours, waiting for the end of the fire. And at this time they are waiting for people who begin to gather from 3 o'clock in the night. In many villages in the gray zone, the picture is the same: it is kilometer lines, many retirees and people with disabilities who are waiting for this help. Help is very in demand. It's scary when the old men stay without the support of their relatives. Last week we made delivery to Chermalyk of the Volnovakh region. When receiving help, a bad grandfather was bad, he could barely reach the point of delivery. He does not have money, no products, he recently buried his wife. First aid was provided to him by all: both volunteers and people who receive products. And such terrible stories are very, very much ", - says Alexander Vishnyakov.     Sociological studies show that a third of the inhabitants of Donbass need products. There is still a high need for humanitarian assistance.   "We will continue to respond to the needs of civilians in the Donbas on both sides of the contact line and in the" gray zone ". At the beginning of next year, we will continue to deliver humanitarian aid to people. We are forced to stay in the format of a 3-month planning of our work. Humanitarian work   the staff remains relevant, "Alexander Vishnyakov summed up.
