The Lemtrans Group held a working meeting with the National Emergency Supply Agency (NESA) and the heads of a number of public and private logistics companies from Finland. The visit was initiated by the Finnish side to study Ukraine’s experience in ensuring the uninterrupted functioning of logistics, security activities and critical infrastructure in wartime conditions.
The Finnish delegation included representatives of NESA, heads of one public and several private logistics companies, as well as security service professionals.
On behalf of the Lemtrans Group, the event was attended by the Director of Transportation, the Head of the Rolling Stock Department, the Head of Security, and the Director of Terminal Network Development at Levada Cargo.
Our experts presented real-life cases to the Finnish side, including on how to organise uninterrupted freight transport in the context of war, which solutions for protecting IT networks and critical systems are effective, and which emergency response protocols worked and which did not. Furthermore, foreign colleagues received advice on adapting routes, as well as ensuring personnel safety.
For our European partners, Ukraine’s experience is an important example of how companies operate under constant threat of hostilities. Meanwhile, for Lemtrans, this is an opportunity to promote the integration of Ukrainian solutions into European logistics approaches and strengthen Ukraine’s position as a reliable partner despite the challenges of war.
