Lemtrans renders assistance to migrants from the ATO zone

Representatives of the wagon repair depot Dneprodzerzhinsk of Lemtrans visited a temporary placement of settlers. At present, 60 people live in one of the hotels of Dneprodzerzhinsk, including 19 children. Today they received first humanitarian aid. 

The depot staff collected items of necessity and money for which foodstuffs, household chemicals, personal hygiene products were purchased. In total, over 200 kg were collected and transferred. humanitarian assistance. 

Vladimir Mezentsev, General Manager of Lemtrans:

- Today, many people are forced to leave their homes due to tragic events in the East of Ukraine. The employees of our company did not remain indifferent to the grief of others and themselves themselves initiated such an initiative. I am sure we will continue to work hard to provide all possible assistance to internally displaced persons.

Recall that on August 6 the humanitarian aid headquarters was provided to the residents of Donbass. The decision to establish the Staff was taken by Rinat Akhmetov to pool resources of his charitable foundation and all the businesses of the SCM Group, as well as FC Shakhtar, in order to provide maximum assistance to all those affected by the hostilities, residents of Donetsk and Lugansk Oblast.

As of August 7, 2014, 11 538 people were evacuated, of which 5665 children were evacuated.
