On May 22, within the project "Come on, Let’s Play!" a long-awaited event took place in the town of Popasna of Lugansk Region, namely - the children's football ground was opened.
The capital reconstruction became possible thanks to the Shakhtar Social Non-profit Foundation, Lemtrans, as well as with the support of ALC "PVRZ" and the administration of Popasna.
The opening ceremony was attended by the residents of the town, the representatives of the administration but most importantly by thechildren who had their first training immediately after the official part  was over.
"I am glad that Popasna now has one more cozy place. Such grounds and projects are a big plus for the town, - said Sergey Siritsa, the CEO of ALC "PVRZ". - We supported the project not only because we are a responsible and socially oriented enterprise, but we clearly understand that the development of the town depends on the potential of the children. The children's football ground has changed completely. It was enlarged, the fence and lighting were installed, the foundation was replaced, and an artificial surface was laid. The new football ground meets all modern safety requirements and quality standards. Inna Khmyzova, the Director of Shakhtar Socials says: "Come on, Let’s Play! is the project opened for partnership. We are glad that Lemtrans shares the idea of developing children's amateur football and has given the children of Popasna the possibility to train. Being aware of the importance of the younger generation for the future of the country, Lemtrans pays special attention to the projects aimed at the development of children. In particular, it helps to improve education, popularize children's and youth sports and healthy lifestyle. Thus, earlier the company implemented the project "Your safety on the railway" aimed at raising children's awareness of the rules of conduct at transport facilities. In order to systematize and develop public activities, Lemtrans decided to join the initiative of FC Shakhtar within the project "Come on, Let’s Play! "We are glad to see that our and our partners' initiative has been implemented. Lemtrans encourages its employees to go in for sports in every possible way. That's why we were happy to join the "Come on, Let’s Play!" project, - says Vladimir Mezentsev, the CEO of Lemtrans. - Our goals when implementing this initiative are to make children live in healthy and active lifestyle culture. We want every child to have an opportunity to try his or her hand at sports. We hope that our and our partners' initiative will inspire other companies to become a part of the project "Come on, Let’s Play!" Background: In 2013, FC Shakhtar launched a social project "Come on, Let’s Play!" aimed at developing mass children's football in Ukraine and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Since its launch, its geography has expanded from two to 24 cities in our country. Today, the project, implemented by Shakhtar Social Non-profit Foundation, involves more than 2,000 children aged 6 to 12 years.
