The humanitarian headquarters of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation for three months evacuated 10,000 children from the fighting zone. Among them are orphans, children from the shelters of the Donetsk region, from large families and adoptive families, orphanages of the family type, which Rinat Akhmetov's fund supported earlier under the program "Orphanage - no". Yes, in May, the fund helped to leave the dangerous cities - at that time they were Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, and later - Donetsk, - more than 40 family-type orphanages. Many of the fund provided temporary housing and food, in particular, more than 6,000 people were housed at the recreation facilities of the SCM Group companies.   A part of families with children received Andrei Pinchuk, a resident of the village of Volosky, in the camp for the settlers, who heads the fund "Donate" in Dnipropetrovsk region. With this organization, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation is implementing a partnership project on reforming the boarding system in the region. 
 
"Already gave food and blood to 729 migrants, which was evacuated by the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation. Children in the camp - exactly half of all settlers. It is a huge work for the good of people. " 

The most difficult thing was evacuation from the residential institutions of the Donetsk region. The humanitarian headquarters of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation evacuated more than 500 orphans. In particular, children from 3 children's homes (Donetsk, Makeyevka), which are now in recovery. This is 135 children aged from 2 months to 4 years old. More than 100 children of different ages fund Rinat Akhmetov evacuated from the shelters of the region to safe places in Ukraine. During the last month, the Humanitarian Headquarters helped to get out of the fighting zone and to the most vulnerable children - it is 201 disabled child from Shakhtarsky orphanage. More than 40 children in this institution were chained to bed. Thanks to the desperate efforts of volunteers, doctors and drivers, children with disabilities were taken from a boarding school to a safe place in the Donetsk region.  

Rimma Fil, coordinator of the Humanitarian Staff at the Rinat Akhmetov 's fund: "Evacuation is the most difficult and important task. Fortunately, for today, the humanitarian headquarters under the Rinat Akhmetov's fund, in close cooperation with social services, volunteers and partner organizations, evacuated all from one zone of military conflict to single pupils of boarding schools. Now all orphans are in peaceful territory. Every time the evacuation of a children's home was titanic work. We had to negotiate with all the parties to the conflict, sometimes negotiations lasted for ten days and very often ended up in a dead end. Then we acted  at your own peril and risk. For example, to evacuate children from the children's home "Malyutka" in Slavyansk, they developed a special operation called "Electricity". Under our strict supervision, the educator pretended to bring the children to the walk. They went to the trolleybus, drove to the stop where our bus was waiting for us. Toddlers and children's caretakers were unknowingly brought to the station, and they were put there in a train. So, quietly and simply, they took the children out. Another question is that these are "state children," and that they could be evacuated by the decision of the relevant ministries - the Ministry of Social Policy, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Education. " 

Also, the humanitarian headquarters of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation evacuated 49 children from the Makeyevsky house of the child, transported   80 children from the Mariupol children's home in Kramatorsk, 40 orphans from Mariupol, in Red Lyman, helped evacuate 15 children with severe pathologies from the 5th hospital of Donetsk to the Kramatorsk home of the child. 

In total, on August 29, 22,840 people were evacuated by the Humanitarian Headquarters under the Rinat Akhmetov's fund. Basically, these are mothers with children, large families, elderly people and people with disabilities.
